Largest ski area
The Zillertal Arena, the largest connected ski area in Zillertal, is all about fun and action. Highlights include the Snow Park and Action Park, which have become a real attraction for freestylers and are equipped with the latest features in this scene. The Action Park Kreuzwiese has yet another new attraction to offer: The Shredschool project is a free snowboard and ski freestyle workshop and is held every Tuesday. Experienced freestylers demonstrate their tricks there and all participants are given hot tips from the pros.
The Zillertal Arena also attracts families and beginners in particular. The range of ski and snowboard schools, together with the Gerlosstein family ski area, provide the best practice ground, enabling all newcomers to discover the thrill of skiing.

Kristallhütte and Wedelhütte
At an altitude of 2,147 metres, Kristallhütte is the meeting point in the Zillertal Alps for locals and visitors. You can get even closer to heaven at the Wedelhütte, which lies at an altitude of 2,350 metres, where traditional style, natural materials and elegant design are combined to create a very special kind of charm.
